- The City of Greenville's Fred Meijer Flat River Trail M-57 Pedestrian Tunnel project is a recipient of a 2011 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award. Century A&E provided electrical design and support for the project. Electrical work involved lighting, power, security and controls.
The graphic museum tiles found inside the tunnel also won an award. The National Tile Contractors Association awarded Welch Tile & Marble the Special Recognition Community Award in the Eighth Annual Tileletter Installation Awards Competition.

- Century A&E is happy to introduce Gordy Sible, P.E. as a new employee.
Gordy is a structural engineer and project manager with 15 years of experience in design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures for industrial, institutional, health care and commercial projects. He is a responsible for the design of new buildings and additions as well as analysis of existing structures for renovation and modification. His focus is management of design and construction budgets, schedules, and support staff as well as extensive coordination with architectural, mechanical, and other disciplines. Gordy is also responsible for specification writing, drafting management, shop drawing review and assisting contractors with construction issues. He has civil engineering experience including site design, grading, storm water management, and sanitary sewer design, as well as inspection and design for new and existing water storage tanks and towers.

Century A&E performed the reinforced concrete design and construction observation of the feedstock room foundation, floor & trenches to assure construction compliance with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Standards.
Century A&E also engineered the entire building foundation and structural floor slab for the Gasification Equipment Room.
